Burn Unit writes short, specific, genuinely funny roasts about whatever you feed it — your bio, your commit messages, your friend's indefensible playlist.
The AI runs on your phone
The model that writes the roasts runs on your phone's own chip, not on a server. Your text is never sent away to be turned into a roast, and the app keeps working in airplane mode. There is no account and no sign-up.
The first launch downloads an AI model of about 2.4 GB. Use Wi-Fi. It happens once.
Reporting a roast
Every roast has a Report this roast control underneath it. Use it if the app writes something offensive — it is the fastest way to get a case into the filters, and the filters are tuned against real reports rather than examples someone invented.
If you have turned off anonymous roast collection, a report stays on your device and the app offers to email it instead. Nothing is sent without you choosing to send it.
